UTF-8 Support - 2007/06/20 12:34
Wow, just installed and it works fantastic. Only one Problem with special Characters. The PDF is german language and the site is running Joomla 1.0.12 / MySql in UTF-8 encoding. Is there a Parameter to fix this issue ?
example:
Bundesgesetz über die Gleichstellung von Menschen mit Behinderungen
Result in Index-file:
Bundesgesetz �ber die Gleichstellung von Menschen mit Behinderungen
I've made a simple Patch in file admin.file_index.php line 320:
change pdftotext to pdftotext -enc "UTF-8"
works for me
would be nice if it's in the configuration
