Highlisht Search Results - 2008/01/23 00:31 1: just wondering how to highlight the search results like your demo ? my standard Joomla search does not do this.

2: can you configure to point to PDF's outside of Joomla root ? (we have 3 gig in another folder and would prefer not to have to copy them as they need to stay there)

3: How long will 3 gig take (each PDF is approx 700k)

add this to your template css file.

.highlight {
background: #FF9900;
}

change the color and other settings as you like.

In this way we can highlight the word in search results. Is there any way so that when we open that pdf we get the search word highlighted in the pdf also.
