Modify Indexes returns a SQL-Error - 2008/03/17 21:13 Hi Nate,

I installed the PDF-Indexer, and indexing works, but when I select Modify Indexes I get a SQL-ERROR
near:
SELECT * FROM #__com_file_index

It's a Debian-Linux Server with Mambo 4.5.3h
Unfortunately I don't know the Mysql version at the moment.

Do you have an idea what's the reason for the error ?

Thanks,
Andreas

Re:Modify Indexes returns a SQL-Error - 2008/03/17 21:23 Can you give me the exact error message along with the version of PDF indexer?

Re:Modify Indexes returns a SQL-Error - 2008/03/18 11:31 Thank you for your fast response.

DB function failed with error number 1064
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 SQL=SELECT * FROM #__com_file_index

Version 2.3 from November 2007, just bought it 1 or 2 weeks ago.

Re:Modify Indexes returns a SQL-Error - 2008/03/18 14:25 It seems like Joomla isn't converting the #_ to the actual name of the table.

I would uninstall it then reinstall it.

Re:Modify Indexes returns a SQL-Error - 2008/03/18 15:02 I uninstalled and then reinstalled it.
But the error is still the same.

Maybe because it is 'Mambo 4.5.3h' ?

Re:Modify Indexes returns a SQL-Error - 2008/03/18 15:05 Yes that could be it. I haven't tested on Mambo in a very long time. I suspect it should function normally if we just manually changed the names of the database tables in the application. Do you need help with this?
