The only different i can see, is that the working domain has PHP Safe Mode GID OFF, but this one has PHP Safe Mode GID ON ..

So now Ive tried setting PHP Safe Mode GID OFF on this one, and see if it changes anything

Just reinstalled. No luck

Very odd. Settings are exactly, despite that register globals is ON on the working site, and its OFF on the not-working site. Does Register Global OFF/ON make any different?

I believe its a problem from my end then.. You are welcome to try and re-install it on the site, if you have time

Regarding the open dir, i asked my webhost Servage.net, and they said following:
"Unfortunately php.ini does not allow a opendir to run for your account"

But Im using the very same webhost, for my other account which worked fine with this component. So i guess it doesnt have anything to do with that?
