Will it work in combination with DocMan/Remository - 2008/03/31 20:20 Hi,

Doc Indexer looks like a great component and just what I need.

Will Doc Indexer work in combination with DocMan or Remository on a Windows OS?

More specifically, when I set up a directory structure with DocMan/Remository and fill it with .doc files, will I be able to search on the content of the .doc files? And is it hard to set up?

Re:Will it work in combination with DocMan/Remosit - 2008/03/31 20:45 It doesn't work with the permissions setup in DocMan or Remository. It works off of Joomla permissions.

I will be able to search any documents put under the joomla directory. So as long as the documents are somewhere within the joomla file structure it will work.
